Lazer

The variety is an early-maturing type with excellent fiber quality and high yield potential. It was registered as the top-yielding variety in the 2018/19 official registration trials conducted in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions. The variety shows wide adaptability, combining superior fiber properties with a rollergin turnout of 45–47%.It has a conical growth habit and medium-to-tall plant height, ensuring good canopy structure and efficient mechanical harvesting. The smooth, hairless leaf type confers tolerance to whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), while the plant performs well in all soil types except for extremely saline or barren soils. The variety exhibits high tolerance to major cotton diseases and has a compact boll conformation, providing tolerance to fiber shedding and boll exposure losses and ensuring stable lint quality before harvest.
