Cremona

CREMONA is a high-yielding feed barley variety with a homogeneous grain structure and high test weight. It has a winter growth habit, mid-to-late maturity, medium plant height, and a strong stem structure. Its high tolerance to lodging and resistance to spike breakage help reduce yield losses during harvest. With its stable yield performance and high test weight, CREMONA ranked first in yield in the 2023/24 Variety Registration Trials conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye. It is tolerant to cold conditions and shows tolerance to powdery mildew and major barley leaf spot diseases.
